On Saturday 26th April I will be at @folkingham_cr On Saturday 26th April I will be at @folkingham_creative_arts leading a fused glass workshop. We will be channeling the wonderful colours of spring to create bright suncatchers and/or coasters - you choose on the day! No experience necessary. All materials and firings included in the price. Bookings are now open via their website, I'll add a link in my stories. Any questions just ask.

'Spring Gold' is now open at the Creative Melbourn 'Spring Gold' is now open at the Creative Melbourne Gallery in Derbyshire. 'Bloom' shown here is part of that exhibition along with other botanical glass pieces by yours truly. The show also features paintings and ceramics by a selection of other artists. The open evening is tonight, but unfortunately I cannot make it as I am currently recovering from an operation and can't drive (or barely even walk!). But do go down if you're local to meet some of the artists and view all of the fantastic work on display. @creativemelbournegallery
This year I am excited to be spending much more ti This year I am excited to be spending much more time facilitating workshops, and there are already a few events booked into the calendar. Teaching is a joy and I love being able to offer people the opportunity to work with glass, so if you have a desire to get creative then I have a few available options for you in the near future... 1st March - 'Patterns in Glass' at @hubsleaford (see The Hub website for details and bookings) 8th March - 'Spring Lightcatchers' at @folkingham_creative_arts (details coming soon) 26th April - 'Mosaic Coasters' at @folkingham_creative_arts (details coming soon) Private events are also available throughout the year. My home studio in Balderton, Newark is ideal for individuals, couples or small groups of three. Alternatively I can travel to external venues to host workshops for larger groups, such as community groups or corporate events. Check out my website or DM me for more info.
This week has been a busy one, starting with early This week has been a busy one, starting with early morning walks around the waterlogged local woods... ...sending off a delivery of bowls, stands and lightcatchers to CHALK'S gallery in Hampshire for their upcoming 'Small Wonders' exhibition... @chalksgallery ...and running a double workshop with the lovely ladies at Newark WI - the third image is a sample of lightcatchers they made that are currently in the kiln, with plenty more other mini creations waiting to be fired. @womensinstitute How is your January going?

Open Saturday and Sunday, it looks set to be a fab event with some excellent stalls. I will have these beautiful rings with me made in collaboration with @susannahbrookesjewellery Hope you can join us.
Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be at Lincoln Craft & Fle Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be at Lincoln Craft & Flea in the Engine Shed, 10-4pm. I'll put a link for tickets in my stories. But for now I'm off out for a walk in the blustery winter weather, time to layer up! 🌬
