These 4 fabulous rings go on sale at 7pm tonight i These 4 fabulous rings go on sale at 7pm tonight in my online store. Taking some photos today has given me a chance to appreciate the amazing skills of @susannahbrookesjewellery
Made from recycled silver, each one is custom made to neatly nestle the glass within. There are 2 different ring styles with the green and blue rings featuring a thinner rounded band, whilst the pink and orange have a wide flat band. All of them have a beautiful satin finish which works great in contrast with the watery reflective glass.
I still can't decide which one my favourite is!
I'll add a link in my stories when it's time.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my st Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my stall at Ruddington last night to compliment my work, talk workshops, and most crucially, bought from me. This journey of being an independent artist is a bumpy one to say the least and I've been feeling a little deflated recently, so last night's success was a much needed boost, so thank you all!! 🙏
Here are some of my favourites which found new homes yesterday, and a quick glimpse of the new sterling silver rings on Susannah's stall. @susannahbrookesjewellery
We have received a lot of interest in the rings, for which we are very grateful. They will be available to buy from my online store tomorrow evening from 7pm, so set your alarms! ⏰️
There are only 4 different ones available, which colour would you choose?
So excited to share these fabulous rings with you So excited to share these fabulous rings with you all! These are the result of a maker collaboration between myself and the wonderful Susannah of @susannahbrookesjewellery
Susannah has worked really hard to come up with a bespoke design that lets the light shine through whilst keeping the glass securely in place. I love the contrast between the solid look of the sterling silver and the fluid transparency of the glass!
And of all happy coincidences, Susannah and I will both be at the Methodist Curch for Ruddington Maker's Night this evening 4-9pm. So for your first chance to see these new rings in person, come and find us.

I will have lots of botanical stands to choose fro I will have lots of botanical stands to choose from at @ruddingtonvillagemarket this Friday, which as you can see take on differing looks depending on the lighting. Place on a bright windowsill to witness the full range of colour as the sun travels across the sky and changes in tone throughout the day.
This Friday will be my last market until after summer, so if you were hoping to buy something from me in person in the near future, then be at Ruddington Maker's Night on 21st June.
It's always a great event with many makers spread across several venues throughout the village, and you will find me in the Methodist Church.
Earlier this month I held a 1:1 full day workshop Earlier this month I held a 1:1 full day workshop with a lovely lady who drove up from Kent to make a beautiful glass bowl. The bowl has leaves adorning the edges and a personal painting using enamels at the centre. She captured the day within this wonderful video that she sent to me so that I can share it with you all (thank you!). 😊
I do love hosting workshops - sharing my love of glass with others and seeing how they interpret the resources at hand to realise their own creative designs.
If you're interested in attending a workshop yourself then you can find all the info regards my workshops on my website, or alternatively you can DM me for details.

We're approaching the final hour of the @paperdollshandmade summer market 2024. It's been great to have been a part of it. 😊
A few things from my online shop that are availabl A few things from my online shop that are available now. I've been holding off adding more stock online until after my next two markets...

But once they're done, any remaining items will get listed online soon after.
This is 'Haze' - the centre wall piece from my @cr This is 'Haze' - the centre wall piece from my @craftworks.show display. This one is extra special due to the tapered glass strip down the middle. It required a solid 4 days in the kiln to cool ever so slowly to avoid cracks, plus some steady coldworking at either end to perfectly fit the space and polish up to an even shine.
This piece certainly tested me and I learnt a lot from it. I was very proud to see it hung on display during London Craft Week.
One thing about this job is that no two weeks are One thing about this job is that no two weeks are ever the same. This last week has seen me running a 1:1 workshop, applying for various exhibition opportunities, and beginning work on a new product I've been planning on adding to my botanical range for a while (I'm hoping to have a few ready for my next two events this month, more news on that soon).
It can be a bit disorientating not having any kind of routine, and to be honest I do struggle with that at times, however it does make things more interesting and keeps boredom at bay - I wouldn't switch.
The image above is of some of my colour swatches in the studio. I have found these to be invaluable over the last year and so I plan to make quite a few more this summer. I love these yellowy brown hues and can envisage me leaning towards these more come the autumn.
