What do 120 glass tiles made by primary school chi What do 120 glass tiles made by primary school children at a summer festival look like? Well, I couldn't fit them all in, but here's a sample. We had another crazy but fun day at @poplarfarmschool at their annual Pop Fest event. Now that everything is fired and delivered I hope that the children are happy with their colourful creations!
A very special shoutout today to a talented photog A very special shoutout today to a talented photographer Kat @kmgs_photography who took these amazing shots of us at Clumber Park. We had a wonderful evening walking around, climbing trees and just hanging out together whilst she captured some beautiful natural moments. We felt very relaxed and these are just a small selection of the photos we received. I'd highly recommend her.
Two very happy ladies collected their works of art Two very happy ladies collected their works of art today - beautiful glass bowls of very different designs. The first feels very organic with flowing lines of glass in watery blues and greens fused together in a shallow curve, whilst the second is a bright and colourful rainbow bowl with a cold-worked polished edge.
I love to see the different ideas people bring to my workshops and above all helping them bring those ideas to life.
If you fancy having a go at making your own glass bowl then drop me a DM and I will send you the current price list. 🙂
'Spring Gold' is now open at the Creative Melbourn 'Spring Gold' is now open at the Creative Melbourne Gallery in Derbyshire. 'Bloom' shown here is part of that exhibition along with other botanical glass pieces by yours truly. The show also features paintings and ceramics by a selection of other artists.
The open evening is tonight, but unfortunately I cannot make it as I am currently recovering from an operation and can't drive (or barely even walk!). But do go down if you're local to meet some of the artists and view all of the fantastic work on display.
